This paper promotion for Mohawk Paper ’s Carnival line included a promotional book, swatch cards, swatch container, and poster aimed towards displaying and promoting Carnival, through both the materials as well as subject matter.. Behind every circus act is a real person with a real life and a real story. I used the idea of the vintage circus, specifically the human amusement acts, to show the many facets of the true person versus the persona they played. I showcased several historical acts from these “ freak shows” and documented how their realities differed and, in some cases, mirrored their character in the show.
